WHAT ARE THE WEBSITE NOTICE REQUIREMENTS OF CALIFORNIA AB1200?

​

The cookware disclosure requirement of California AB 1200 is found in the California Health & Safety Code beginning in Section 109010. By January 1, 2024, manufacturers of cookware (including some kitchen appliances) sold in the state of California and containing one or more intentionally added chemicals from a designated list of chemicals are required to identify those chemicals on the product label. This law also requires cookware manufacturers to identify such chemicals on its website.
